we are not wild about banana bread, but i had some very ripe bananas laying around and i knew that nobody would eat them. and as it goes, i am reading at the moment ‘a homemade life’ by molly wizenberg. she has a fun story about her problem with bananas in it, and a recipe for the best banana bread ever. just imagine: banana bread spiked with bittersweet chocolate and CRYSTALLIZED GINGER!!!!!! i just had to make it. miya and steven loved it so much that they almost ate the whole thing in one go. i had to step in and rescue some for tea time.
